Day 1: From City Breath to Savannah Silence

You’ll start in Kigali, where tidy streets and green hills whisper their welcome. Your Friendly Gorillas Safaris guide picks you up early.

The drive east is quiet and scenic—fields rolling out, small towns blinking by. By late morning, the gate to Akagera National Park opens, and the air changes.

After lunch at your lodge, you set out for an afternoon game drive. You might spot giraffes drifting through acacias. Buffalo flicking their ears.

As the sun melts into Lake Ihema, you return to your lodge. The night is full of crickets and stars but, you need to relax to enjoy tomorrow’s adventure.

Day 2: Big Five at Dawn & a Quiet Return
